Capcom has slapped a February 15 release date on Resident Evil 2’s free Ghost Survivors mini-game.
There’s no need to fork out your hard-earned cash for this, as Ghost Survivors will come as a free update for the survival horror title. It’s billed as a ‘what if’ scenario, split into three segments: No Time to Mourn, Runaway, and Forgotten Soldier, where you’ll control Robert Kendo, the Mayor’s daughter, and a USS soldier, respectively.
All three characters never made it out of Raccoon City alive, so it’s a pretty cool scenario to base DLC around. Kendo in particular is a nice addition, as despite being a minor character, he has ties existing Resi characters such as Barry Burton and other S.T.A.R.S. members.
Resident Evil 2 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One last Friday, and gave Capcom its biggest launch since 2017’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Have a gander at my review to see if Resi 2 delivers the goods.
