Discover the Dark Heart of Skyrim in The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor, Coming June 2 to Xbox
For the first time since The Elder Scrolls Online’s launch, Tamriel’s adventurers will be able explore the snow-covered lands of Skyrim once again with the announcement of an all-new chapter, The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor. This new chapter, coming to Xbox One on June 2, is a major part of the brand-new Dark Heart of Skyrim year-long story that begins with the Harrowstorm dungeon DLC in March and continues throughout the entire year.
Now available for pre-purchase on the Microsoft Store, Greymoor takes you to the region of Western Skyrim. Not only will this new zone allow you to explore the cold wilderness that surrounds the city of Solitude, but it also provides an opportunity to explore the massive underground region of Blackreach. Whatever your experience was with this part of Tamriel during your adventures in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you’ll find the Western Skyrim of ESO, some 1,000 years before the events of TESV, a familiar but different land from the one you’ve explored previously, filled with new quests, delves, world bosses, and more.
In this new chapter, you will take part in a massive year-long story and help the besieged Nords investigate the emergence of horrific supernatural events called harrowstorms. Monstrous vampires and other dark beasts have emerged from the depths below Solitude, and it is up to you to put a stop to these dark events and discover the ancient evil at their heart.
This new chapter also introduces a new system, Antiquities, that allows you to scry and uncover ancient relics from all over the continent. As a would-be archeologist, you shall unearth fantastic new items and collectibles in your quest to discover Tamriel’s hidden history.
As part of the Dark Heart of Skyrim year-long adventure, the story you experience in the Greymoor chapter (and the Harrowstorm DLC before it) will be a part of a major storyline that continues throughout the entirety of 2020. Of course, Greymoor’s storyline is a complete adventure in its own right, and how you choose to play each new release in 2020 is entirely up to you!
The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor is now available for pre-purchase on the Microsoft Store, and it includes both Standard and Collector’s Editions (that have additional digital items) as well as Upgrade versions for those who already own the ESO base game. Don’t forget Xbox Game Pass members: You already have access to the Elder Scrolls Online base game! If you pre-purchase Greymoor, you’ll also receive bonus in-game items and collectibles, including instant access to the Holdbreaker Warhorse mount.
An ancient evil has awoken beneath the frozen lands of Western Skyrim, and an epic new year-long adventure beckons to Tamriel’s champions. It’s time to face the darkness that now marches forth from Blackreach — Skyrim needs heroes!

Rainbow Six Siege crosses over with Netflix’s “Money Heist” (aka “La Casa de Papel”) for a special in-game event that begins today, adding a new, show-inspired mode and cosmetic items until November 24. What’s more, Xbox Live Gold members can try the new content for free, as Rainbow Six Siege will be free to download and play between November 21 and November 24.

In the meantime, jump in risk-free, try the “Money Heist” event (along with all the other maps and modes included in the game), and see for yourself why Rainbow Six Siege, now in its fourth year,is going stronger than ever.
Crusader Kings III is Coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC in 2020
Seven years ago, Paradox Interactive redefined grand strategy, emergent storytelling, and alternate history in one incredible game: Crusader Kings II. Today, seven years of expansions, surprises, and amazing stories later, we announced a worthy heir to the throne at PDXCON 2019: Crusader Kings III is coming in 2020. We can’t wait to share a new generation of grand strategy with players everywhere, and we have even more good news: if you’re on Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) it’ll be included in your subscription.
Crusader Kings III is the sequel to an all-time favorite title from Paradox Development Studio, offering players a realm of medieval conquest, intrigue, and high drama. If you’re new to Crusader Kings, you’re about to discover a world where you can live out your own medieval saga as the leader (and the heirs of that leader) of a grand dynasty. You can determine your own fate — conquer your way across Europe, establish your rule over matters of religion, culture, or simply ensure that your rivals meet with a series of “coincidental” misfortunes. If you’re a long-time veteran of our series, then I think you will be both satisfied and surprised with what we have in store for you in this true, worthy sequel.
It’s an exciting honor to have finally revealed the project we’ve been working on, live on stage at PDXCON 2019 in Berlin, no less! What’s more, we were joined on stage by our friends at Microsoft to reveal that we’re sharing this new journey with PC players worldwide through Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta). Crusader Kings III will be available day one with Xbox Game Pass! If you’ve ever wanted to give our unique brand of grand strategy a try, there’s never been a better opportunity.
Making a sequel that Crusader Kings fans will be satisfied with has been quite a journey. Over the years, CK2 has had several expansions with more content than I can possibly list here. From its humble beginning, we’ve seen the game explode in popularity and take on new challenges, conquering new territories just like an in-game dynasty! Our players have shared countless stories of the treachery, drama, and heartbreak they’ve experienced within Crusader Kings over the years, and with an all-new generation waiting in the wings, I can’t wait to hear about the guile, cunning, and strategy our fans (new and old alike) will attempt. Maybe some of them will even succeed, if they can outsmart the ambitious threats from other kingdoms and from their own councils.
We’re going to have a lot more to share about Crusader Kings III in the coming months, so stay tuned to Xbox Wire and look for us on Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) in 2020!
Welcome to Etherborn, a Game Where the Entire World is at Your Feet
Xbox Wire –
Hello, Xbox Wire fans! My name is Samuel, and I’m one of the members of Altered Matter – a small studio that’s located in sunny Barcelona, Spain. I want to tell you a little bit about our game Etherborn, a project that we’ve worked on for the last four years of our lives.
Etherborn is an exploration-platformer in which you explore a gravity-shifting world. Here, gravity works in a totally different way to what we are used to. It’s not static – it moves with you, changing the environment around you. Imagine yourself standing next to a wall. You take a few steps forward and suddenly that wall becomes the floor, and the whole world around you has changed position entirely. Because of this ever-shifting gravity, you will find yourself walking across a bridge while glued to its side, circling around the side of a column, and running under a waterfall whose stream is going up towards the sky.
The environmental puzzles that we prepared are a backdrop to a story that we want to tell. In Etherborn, you are a voiceless being that has just been born into a world where a bodiless voice is waiting for you. You don’t know who or what this voice is, but you feel that the two of you are meant to meet. And as you take your first steps, the journey begins and the world around you starts to flip. You will come across bridges suspended in air, ever-changing structures in the clouds, and lands filled with mysteries.
Etherborn is coming to Xbox One on July 18. Seeing our game so close to release sends slight shivers of excitement down our spines. We’ve been playing games our entire lives, and now with Etherborn, we’ve tried our best to create something unique and new.
We hope that this post gave you a decent glimpse into the world of Etherborn. We will be sharing more news as we get closer to release, so if you want to see more, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
New Combat and Weapon Skills in Black Desert Awakening Update
Xbox Wire –
In the three months since its launch on Xbox One, Black Desert has added two new regions, doubling the size of the world, four new classes, and massive world bosses that take whole servers of players to defeat. Today, we’ve added a whole new way for players to bring the fight to their enemies in Black Desert with the Awakening free content update.
All ten available classes will receive new weapons and devastating skills once they are “awakened” that can strike down enemies on the battlefield. During combat, classes can switch in-and-out of their awakened forms as they execute a variety of new combos delivering ultimate damage.
To awaken, adventurers must first reach level 56, having gained immense experience through their travels and trials by combat within Black Desert. They will receive a quest that explores the secrets of their past and challenges them to complete tests of combat. Once completed, players will be awarded a mythical weapon belonging to their history and people.
In addition to the Awakening update, players can enjoy new community-led events starting today. With Black Desert available with Xbox Game Pass, now’s the perfect time for beginner and veteran players to experience today’s new content.

Grip Gets Updated with Four New Tracks and One New Team Mode
Xbox Wire –
Hey, Xbox racers!
We’ve had a blast with Grip: Combat Racing on Xbox One. Since launch we’ve listened to fans through the Grip Garage club, plus our Wednesday afternoon online sessions, and have continued to support players through a series of updates as we fine-tune and optimize the racing experience!
One of the areas we’ve seen players have a lot of fun in is the arenas. Here it’s full on PvP action with modes like Deathmatch! A few months back, players told us they wanted team modes for the arenas and for classic races… they also told us they wanted a bunch of all new tracks. We heard you and set about bringing in some classic Red vs Blue action, along with creating some of our most outrageous track designs to date! Launching today, as a free update for all players, we’re thrilled to bring the team modes into Grip, alongside four new tracks!
Team Racing & Team Deathmatch
Players can now join either red or blue teams to battle it out in any racing mode. This includes Classic Race, Ultimate, Elimination, Deathmatch and Speed Demon! The team with the highest points wins!
Mindbender (Haze reverse) (Orbital Prime) (City)
A highly modified version of Haze reverse. Key sections include a massive jump, tricky S turn and twisting sewer section!
Naptha Valley (Jahtra) (Desert)
Quite possibly the most rollercoaster-y track of all. Set in a resource mining center, key sections include a mineral deposit cave, large stepped curves of terrain and an indoor facility.
Hive Horizon (Orbital Prime) (City)
A beautiful, sunset soaked, gravity defying city district. Key sections include an affluent block of corporate structures, a big ceiling ride to floor jump and an ascending spiral road!
Spin Cycle (Liddo5) (Forest)
Players wanted more tunnels, and this track was designed to let ‘em dig deep! Key sections include an open area with beautiful autumn visuals, tunnel turns perfect for barrel rolls, glass tunnels and an obstacle ridden turn to the finish!
We’ve also released new ‘glowing’ garage packs and based on your feedback, raised the level cap! We’re really excited for players to get a grip (pun intended!) of the new content, and although we’re not revealing exactly what is next in the pipeline, know that we have something big on the horizon for the next content drop…
Grip started out as the passion project between two guys: myself, a home renovator in Canada, and Rob, a veteran 90s games developer who worked on Rollcage (might have heard of it). Robert retired to an island with no thoughts of development, and I was up on roofs doing my thing. But through our mutually shared love of old combat racers, we starting brainstorming what a modern version of Rollcage would be like on today’s consoles. After a plethora of emails and Skype calls between us, we worked with a group of very talented developers and artists along with an incredibly supportive publisher (big ups to Wired Productions!) to put out one of the best combat racers of this era. We are humbled by our amazingly dedicated community and are really excited for what is coming to Grip in the future!
Top 5 Tips for Surviving the New Dark Update in Human: Fall Flat, Available Now on Xbox One
Xbox Wire –
Hi there, Xbox Humans!
Since its release on Xbox One way back in 2017, Human: Fall Flat has gathered an amazing and supportive community, and for that the team owes you a gigantic thank you!
To show our massive appreciation, today marks the release of our first free content update of 2019. The Dark update brings fans a mysterious and spooky new night-time level and a whole host of new player customization options.
But wait! Before you try it out, have a quick read of our top 5 tips to see you through the weird and wonderful dreamscape of Dark.
Keep your eyes peeled for a lonesome axe sitting patiently at the beginning of the level. In classic horror fashion, surviving the challenges ahead of you will be a heck of a lot easier with something sharp and pointy at your side. Use it to cut down trees, pull apart objects – or just look cool as you explore with your jealous friends.
Dark is one of the few Human: Fall Flat levels to use electricity as a core part of puzzles. As you explore you’ll eventually come across a generator in dire need of some juice. If you’re struggling to turn things on with the nearby cog, jump online and get a friend to help. There are two handles for a reason. Don’t forget the batteries!
Are you a Human: Fall Flat veteran with hundred of hours of playtime under your belt? Then you need the Hiker Skin, a brand new customization option that we at Curve have dubbed, The Hard Mode Skin. With your arms hidden in front of a huge backpack filled with iconic game objects, climbing across Dark will be that much harder for you hardcore players. You have been warned!
Hold on tight!
Without giving too much away, there’s a fantastic surprise awaiting you at the end of Dark. As you flick the switch of the level’s final puzzle, make sure you quickly turn around. Grab the nearby table, hold on tight and get ready for something pretty special. My lips are sealed…
I’m hearing voices
We’ve been hearing rumors that, like most other Human: Fall Flat levels, there are strange voices floating across our shiny new level waiting to be found. I can neither confirm nor deny these bizarre rumors, but there’s no harm in keeping your ears open as you explore the nooks and crannies of Dark. If you find anything, do let us know right away…
That’s it’s. You’re now officially ready for anything Dark can throw at you. I hope you have an incredible time playing it!
